Team RFJ Says Goodbye
Team RFJ has just completed its 5th year of ministering to the youth who participate in off-road racing. It has been a very rewarding and uplifting time. The Lord called my son Jacob and me to this ministry in the hope of planting the seeds of Christ in the hearts and minds of the racers, their families, and friends. We were greatly encouraged by the overwhelming support we received from all those we have come in contact with. Your love and friendship will never be forgotten.
In the same manner in which the Lord called Team RFJ to minister to the racing community, He is now leading us to a new ministry. We are very sad that Team RFJ must say goodbye to all of our youth, friends, and family at the race track. Yet, we are very excited about, and look forward to God's new calling. As was the case with our racing ministry, we will embrace this new challenge with a zeal for sharing the message of Christ.
I want to personally thank each of the youth who have participated with us in our numerous Bible studies. Getting to know each of you was a great pleasure, and something I will never forget. I'd also like to extend a special note of thanks to each of the parents for their devotion to God's calling, and their steadfast commitment to Team RFJ's ministry.
Lastly, I would like to thank our family and friends at Whiplash Racing. Sabrina and Jay have been instrumental in welcoming the message of Christ at all Whiplash events. I will never forget the graciousness and love they have shown my entire family. They are truly remarkable people!
I hope to always be a humble servant of Christ and pray that our efforts have produced good fruit.
Thank you again for all of your support!
Sincerely,
John RhodesTeam RFJ

Team RFJ Saturday Bible Study and Sunday Chapel
As a condition of registration reimbursement, all Team RFJ riders are required to attend our Saturday morning bible study and fully complete the registration card. As you are aware, many race weekends have both Desert and Short Course events. Team RFJ riders are only required to attend the Saturday morning bible study as a condition of reimbursement for that weekend.
Team RFJ will be conducting a Sunday morning Chapel on selected race weekends and the lessons are geared toward older kids and adults. Attendance at the Sunday Chapel is optional for Team RFJ riders and is not required for race reimbursement.
Sincerely,
John RhodesTeam RFJ
Rider Update: Keilan Horta #345
I would like to update you on my racing status. After my race in February I got moved up to the Expert Class. I now have a new number (345). My Grandpas race car number was 45 so I went down that road with it. I had to get all new numbers for my bike and a new jersey with numbers. A big THANK YOU to BRM OFFROAD GRAPHICS for the new numbers. It is so appreciated. I also picked up another great sponsorship with ANSWER RACING. THANK YOU !! I now have 2 bikes that I race. I still have my Apex but my newest addition is a Honda TRX90. I enjoy riding them both! In March I raced Prescott Valley. I started off riding my Apex and placed in the Closed Course Series 3rd (bike problems) and in the Desert Series I rode my Honda and I placed 2nd. In April I raced at Firebird. I placed 1st in the Closed Course on my Apex and 4th in the Desert. May was a long trip up to Page and there I placed 2nd in the Desert race. We now have the month of June off, well I should say I have the month off my dad has a lot of work to do on my bikes to prepare them for the rest of the race season so he will be working the month of June. (Thanks Dad!) So in July over the 2-4th we go back to Prescott Valley. I am having a great summer so far and can’t wait to get back on the track. THANK YOU TO ALL MY SPONSORS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!!!! Thank you to RFJ for providing an awards ceremony following the race. You can find a profile of me and several other riders on Team RFJ website. You can check out any of my sponsors on websites or check out Whiplash Racing to view a schedule of upcoming races.
Sincerely,
Keilan

New Rider Reimbursement Policies!
In order to allow Team RFJ to better budget our expenses and to allow us to continue to encourage additional youth racers to join Team RFJ, we are limiting our per rider registration reimbursement to $50.00 per race weekend. Riders are encouraged to register for as many races as possible but Team RFJ will only reimburse a maximum of two races per race weekend. (Late fees will not be reimbursed.) This will be in effect at Whiplash’s next race in Chandler, AZ on April 24th.
Effective immediately, all Team RFJ riders are required to provide rider profile information, one head shot photo and one action photo. A rider profile questionnaire can be requested form you’re Team RFJ, Rider Support Manager, Jaina McKinley. Profile information and pictures can be emailed to Jaina or provided at the Chandler race on 4/24. Starting with the Chandler race, registration reimbursements will be delayed until after profile information is provided.
Thank you in advance for your continued support of Team RFJ and Zoo Racing!
